Founded with the mission to make this innovative therapy more accessible to the public, OxyGeneration is proud to have welcomed and served local sports teams, patients referred from local clinics and those who have travelled across the country to avail of the centre’s state-of-the-art facilities.

What is Hyperbaric
Oxygenation Therapy?

Hyperbaric Oxygenation Therapy or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is breathing high-concentration oxygen in a pressurized chamber. This increased pressure allows more oxygen to dissolve in the blood plasma, enhancing oxygen delivery to tissues.

The therapy stimulates cellular metabolism, reduces inflammation, promotes angiogenesis, and aids in fighting infections, thereby accelerating the healing process for various medical conditions and injuries.

What to expect at OxyGeneration

OxyGeneration is a private state-of-the-art non-emergency HBOT clinic in Galway, Ireland. We have a purpose-built 14-seat chamber which safely creates the required pressurised environment and delivers the high-concentration oxygen (via a facemask) to breathe during a session.

It is a low-risk, painless and non-invasive therapy used in hospitals all over the world (including University Hospital Galway) as a supplemental treatment for a range of medical conditions. OxyGeneration is an Irish Life Health approved Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy provider.
